Ruth Gunden Gymnasium

Location: Southeast corner of Roman Gingerich Recreation-Fitness Center
Built: 1994
Capacity: Varies from 500 to 2,500 depending on setup

Ruth Gunden Gymnasium is the home facility for the Maple Leaf men's and women's basketball and volleyball programs. Named in honor of a GC professor of physical education from 1953-94 who coached women's basketball, volleyball and tennis, the "House That Ruth Built" also serves as host to the college's annual commencement exercises.

Gunden Gymnasium boasts 10 basketball goals and three full-size courts lined for both basketball and volleyball. Movable bleacher sections permit the facility to use a variety of seating configurations, which has enabled the Maple Leafs to host multiple matches simultaneously.
