GOSHEN, Ind. - The Goshen men's tennis regular season came to a close with a 4-0 defeat at the hands of Cardinal Stritch on Saturday. The match was played to the point where the Wolves clinched the win.
Kevin Bollmann led Danail Banov in no. 3 singles 6-4, 3-3. The Wolves got their points from wins at no. 1, 5, and 6 singles and from taking the team point 2-0.
Cardinal Stritch sits at 2-1 this season, while Goshen heads into postseason play with a 6-5 record and 5-3 mark in the Crossroads League. In the Crossroads League tournament, the Maple Leafs are the five seed, and Indiana Wesleyan is the four seed in that matchup. The women are an eight seed in the Crossroads League tournament and will face the one seed, Indiana Wesleyan as well. Both teams will start the tournament at Indiana Wesleyan on Tuesday, September 20, at 4:30 pm.
