MOUNT VERNON, Ohio - The Goshen men's and women's tennis teams have combined to win 59 of their last 60 sets. They won all 30 sets they competed in at Mount Vernon Nazarene on Tuesday, as both teams won in 7-0 sweeps.

This is the first time the men have won by sweeps in back-to-back matches since 2018, and the first time the women have done so since 2002. Both teams are currently 3-3 in the Crossroads League.

Insee Akarapan didn't lose a single game in #1 doubles or #5 singles. Three women won their singles matches by 6-0, 6-0 scores - Szofia Kallai, Blanka Bodo and Carmen Aliaga. Among the 30 sets played between the two GC teams today, the Cougars never got closer than a 6-3 score in any of them.

Goshen hosts Marian on Thursday, September 21 at Goshen Jr. High School. The women play at 1:00 pm and the men are at 4:00 pm.
