GOSHEN, Ind. - For the first time since 2005, the Goshen women's tennis team took down Huntington with a 4-3 win on Saturday at the Goshen Jr. High School. The men lost their match 6-1.

The Foresters won the women's team point 3-0, but Goshen won four of the six singles matches. Sude Aytekin won in #1 singles 6-4, 6-3, and Blanka Bodo had the same 6-4, 6-3 win in #3 singles. Szofia Kallai won at #2 singles 6-4, 6-2, and Carmen Aliaga in three sets at #5 singles, 6-2, 5-7, 6-3.

Huntington won the team point 3-0 and won from #2 singles down to #6 singles. Filippo Gallo secured Goshen's point in #1 singles, winning 3-6, 6-4, (11-9).

Goshen is at Grace on Tuesday, September 5, at 2:00 pm for their second Crossroads League match of the year.
