WINONA LAKE, Ind. - The Goshen men won the team point against Grace and Szofia Kallai and Blanka Bodo had singles wins, but the Grace tennis teams each moved to 2-0 to start the season with wins over the Leafs. The Grace women won 5-2 and the men won 6-1.

Kallai won in #2 singles on the women's side 7-6(5), 6-3 and Bodo won in #3 singles 6-1, 7-6(1). Both of them are now 2-0 in singles competition this year. Grace won all three doubles matches and took the other four singles points in just two sets each.

The men claimed their first doubles points this season after losing the team point to Huntington 3-0 on Saturday. Filippo Gallo and Insee Akarapan won in #1 doubles 7-6 (7-3) and Matija Margetic and Pedro Scattolon secured the win in #2 doubles 6-3. The Lancers took all six singles points, although Gallo was able to force three sets in #1 singles.

Goshen is back in action on Thursday, September 7, at 3:30 pm at Spring Arbor.
