FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The men's tennis team got a narrow 4-3 win against Indiana Tech on the road Tuesday, a team currently receiving votes in the coaches poll. The Goshen women lost 6-1.

The men won the doubles point with a 6-4 win from Joaquin Luque and Mario Gomez at #2 doubles. Matija Margetic and Pedro Scattolon had a 6-3 win at #3 doubles. After losing his first set in #2 singles, Luque came back and would win 1-6, 6-1, 10-2. Fillipo Gallo won at #1 singles and Insee Akarapan at #5.

Sude Aytekin shined for the women despite the loss. Aytekin and Blanka Bodo won in #1 doubles 7-6 despite losing the team point 2-1. Aytekin had an impressive win in #2 singles, 5-7, 7-6, 10-8.

That concludes the season for the women, tying their win total from the previous three seasons combined. The men wrap up the season at Grace on Saturday, April 13, at noon.
