HUNTINGTON, Ind. - Uliana Dotsenko and Ariadna Otin O'Callaghan picked up doubles and singles wins, but the Goshen tennis teams lost at Huntington on Tuesday night after a rain delay. The Foresters men won 5-0 while the women had a closer 4-3 decision.

Women - Huntington 4, Goshen 3
Goshen started strong by winning the doubles point 2-1. Blanka Bodo and Sara Nino won in #1 doubles 6-2 and Uliana Dotsenko and Ariadna Otin O'Callaghan won at #2 doubles 6-3. Dotsenko proceeded to win in straight sets in #2 singles and Otin O'Callaghan squeezed by in a tight, straight set victory. The Foresters had straight set wins in the other four singles matches, winning the matchup 4-3, responding to Goshen's 4-3 win a year ago, which had been Goshen's first win against the Foresters since 2005.

Bodo, Dotsenko and Nino have four doubles wins this year and Nino has only lost once in doubles. With her singles win, Dotsenko now has a 5-2 singles record this season.

Men - Huntington 5, Goshen 0
Huntington swept the doubles matches 3-0. Matija Margetic was leading the third set of #3 singles 5-2 when that match was called, as Huntington had already won. Bruno Ferrera had a lead in the second set at #6 singles, but that match was also unfinished. The four Foresters singles wins were all in straight sets. With the loss, the Goshen men are now 5-2 in conference play.

Goshen hosts Grace on Thursday, September 26, at 3:00 pm at Goshen College. This will be the last competition for the Leafs before competing in the Crossroads League tournament, starting on Tuesday, October 1.
