GOSHEN, Ind. — Rebekah Muzyk, a sophomore on the women's bowling team, has been named the Everence Student-Athlete of the Week for November 10 - November 16!
Muzyk came in tenth of 64 at the Boilermaker Classic, with 832 pins and a 166.4 average, slightly improving her season average. Jessica Spidell came in second overall and was the Crossroads League Women's Bowler of the Week. The women's team placed third out of nine teams. Muzyk is the program leader in career total pins with
13,201 and career games played at 76.
League competition is up next for the Maple Leafs. Goshen competes at Crossroads League #1 on Friday, December 5 and Crossroads League #2 on Saturday, December 6. The men bowl at EZ Bowl in Bluffton, Indiana on Friday and the women are at Crest Lanes in Marion, Indiana that day. They switch sites on Saturday, with the men at Crest Lanes and the women at EZ Bowl.

The Everence Student-Athlete of the Week award recognizes outstanding performances by Goshen College student-athletes and is selected each week by the GC sports information office. It is sponsored by Everence, a faith-based financial services organization headquartered in Goshen.
