WINONA LAKE, Ind. - Pedro Scattolon won his sixth straight singles match and won a doubles match as well as Goshen took on Grace in Winona Lake on Monday afternoon. The Lancers won 6-1.
Scattolon lost his first set at #6 singles 3-6 and won the next 7-6 with a particularly intense 11-9 tiebreaker score. The final set was also closely contested, as Scattolon prevailed with a narrow 11-9 victory. The senior from Rosario, Argentina was 7-6 before his singles win streak, but now holds a 13-6 singles record this season. He has also won eight of his last nine singles matches.
Scattolon won 6-2 at #3 doubles with his partner
Joaquin Luque. This was Luque's first doubles win of the season - he is now 1-1. The Leafs lost the doubles point 2-1. Goshen's other singles matches were lost in straight sets. Fillipo Gallo had a close loss in #1 singles, 3-6, 5-7.
Goshen wraps up their 2024-25 season on Wednesday, April 16 at home against Indiana Tech for Senior Day. Seniors
