GOSHEN, Ind. — Vishmi Serasinghe, a sophomore on the women's tennis team, has been named the Everence Student-Athlete of the Week for March 30 - April 5!

Serasinghe not only went 4-0 this week across Goshen's two dominant wins, but she only lost a single game. She won both of her doubles matches this week 6-0 with teammate Sara Nino. Serasinghe also won her singles match against Saint Francis 6-0, 6-0 and won by a 6-0, 6-1 score against Spring Arbor. The Leafs are already tied for their second-most wins in a season.

The Everence Student-Athlete of the Week award recognizes outstanding performances by Goshen College student-athletes and is selected each week by the GC sports information office. It is sponsored by Everence, a faith-based financial services organization headquartered in Goshen.
