2019: Went 4-4 in eight appearances at no. 6 singles as a senior ... won twice, then lost twice, then won twice, then lost twice, then we had a pandemic ... added a 3-3 mark in conference play ... won his only three-set match 6-4 over Huntington on 9/17 ... other three singles victories came in matches where he dropped five games or fewer ... did not play doubles.
2018: Played exactly 14 singles matches for the second consecutive season ... recorded the most successful campaign of his career, going 9-5 ... went 4-0 in third-set super tiebreaks, finishing comebacks from one set down in all four of them ... recorded victories at three different positions ... finished conference play 7-2 ... dropped one game or fewer in three of those wins ... took a loss at no. 3 in his only doubles match of the season.
2017: Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year finalist ... Played 14 matches, all of them singles in dual-match action ... went 6-6 at the no. 6 spot in the lineup, including a 4-4 mark in conference action ... won three straight matches from Sept. 7-12, part of a seven-set winning streak ... recorded 6-0 set wins on Sept. 2 against Bethel and Oct. 3 against Spring Arbor.
2016: Took part in 13 of his team's 14 matches, playing 15 times ... most common position was no. 6 singles (11 matches) ... opened career by winning three of first five singles matches, including 16-14 match-tiebreaker win over Judson on Sept. 3 ... posted first career double-bagel win earlier that day over Bethel.
