AT GOSHEN:
2019: Played a pair of varsity matches at no. 3 doubles, winning them both ... debuted with a 6-1 win over Mount Vernon Nazarene on 8/28 partnered with Hermes Flores ... also won 6-3 over Roosevelt with Josh Friesen on 10/9.

HIGH SCHOOL:
Played for coach Daniel Love at Goshen High School … team captain … won coaches award and Student-Athlete of the Month … also played basketball and participated in choir … graduated summa cum laude

PERSONAL:
Born on August 14 … parents are Cris and Marilyn Torres … brother to Isabela (23) and Mari (19) … chose Goshen because “I’m Mennonite and Goshen was better than EMU” … admires his parents because “they taught me to work hard” … best athletic moment was “breaking a 25-day losing streak in doubles my junior year.”
