AT GOSHEN:
2019: Ran in all six meets ... finished among top four runners on the team in all of them, most commonly coming in third (three times) ... peaked with a 63rd-place finish overall, second on the team, in a career-best 20:31.5 on 10/11 at Bethel Invitational ... that was the last of four straight races in which she lowered her time from one week to the next ... best finish by place was 29th on 10/26 at Great Lakes Invitational ... finished fourth on team and 83rd overall at conference meet on 11/9 at Bethel.
2018: Ran in four meets and set new collegiate-best times in three of them ... led team in her first three appearances, finishing a season-best 20th overall at Great Lakes Invitational on 10/20 ... broke 21-minute mark for the first time in that race, finishing in 20:41.30 ... first career top-100 finish had come 10/5 at Bethel College Invitational ... finished 64th overall and third on team at conference meet on 11/3.
2017-18: Redshirted in cross country ... made collegiate track and field debut in 3,000 Feb. 3 at IWU Midwest Classic.

HIGH SCHOOL:
Ran for coaches Mike Wynn, Erin Smeltzer and Chris DuBois at Goshen High School ... two-time team MVP … academic all-state athlete in both track and cross country … all-conference ... also participated in orchestra, choir and musical … graduated summa cum laude with International Baccalaureate diploma … National Honor Society member … four-year high honor roll student.

PERSONAL:
Born on October 16 ... parents are Denise Diener and Gilberto Pérez ... has two siblings, Felix (18) and Camila (15) ... chose Goshen “because the program I intend to study is very well supported and the professors are supportive of my dreams as well.”
