Biography
HIGH SCHOOL:
Attended Oak Meadow Distance Learning School … also played volleyball
PERSONAL:
Born on October 15 ... parents are Jane and Jerrell Ross Richer ... sister to Sierra, Teresa and Jordan ... chose Goshen “because of the connections I have to the school. My dad teaches here and my older sister Sierra graduated from Goshen with a positive academic and athletic experience. I also was attracted to the unique major of Deaf Studies that Goshen offers” ... admires Angie Fernandez because “She lives on the West Mesa in New Mexico in a tiny house made of hyper-adobe she built with a little help from friends. She loves the earth, lives barefoot, cooks her food in the sun, only makes one bag of trash per year and is so happy. She's an amazing example for me of someone who truly cares for our Earth and has the guts to be different in this world. I also admire my parents. The things they've accomplished are unbelievable, homeschooling four kids, making it possible for us to create a home in two places, having the dream to be missionaries and then fulfilling it, following Jesus' footprints and so much more. I love them and admire them because of the lifestyle they've given me.” ... little-known personal fact is “I wouldn’t survive without coffee in the morning” ... best athletic moment “happened months after I joined the team and started running for the first time. I was chosen to be a part of the women's 4x800-meter relay team that qualified for nationals outdoor in 2021 and indoor in 2022. Racing in the competitive environment with teammates that are full of passion and drive is something I will never forget” … two-time national qualifier … indoor 4x800-meter relay All-American … Dean’s List … also participated in soccer at Goshen
