Goshen College

The first intercollegiate sport at Goshen College was men's basketball in 1956. Roman Gingerich was the head coach for the inaugural team and had an 11-1 record that first year. He went on to have an 83-42 record with the team and the Rec-Fitness Center is named in his honor. Errick McCollum II holds the program record for points in a career at 2,789. During his time with the Maple Leafs from 2006-2010, McCollum also set the records for free throws, field goal attempts, blocks and steals in a career. In 2010, he was an NAIA First-Team All-American.
