Beginning in 1976 under the direction of John Ingold, the men's cross country team has become a consistent force on campus and in the Crossroads League. The Maple Leafs had eight individual national qualifiers from 1976 to 2010. Comparatively, in the last 15 years, they have produced 22. As a team, the men have qualified for nationals seven times (2014, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2025) with six coming under the direction of Rustin Nyce. Nelson Kemboi was an All-American for three consecutive years from 2020 to 2022.
