Men's soccer was one of the most storied programs in the early athletic history at Goshen College. The Maple Leafs won at least 100 games in every decade from the 1970s through the 2000s and boast an all-time record of 554 wins, 423 losses and 74 ties. Beginning in 1958, the team later found success with 16 Mid-Central College Conference Championships from 1970-1990. They again won back-to-back league titles in 2005 and 2006. Dwain Hartzler is the winningest coach in program history, leading the team to a 258-169-20 record from 1976-2000. John Ingold coached the team during their early 1970s success, posting a 99-23-5 record from 1966-1975. The team has made four nationals appearances - in 1971, 1973, 1977 and 2006.
