AT GOSHEN:
2016: All-Crossroads League selection ... Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete ... nominee for GC Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year ... moved up to the no. 1 singles position and went 5-6, including 4-4 against conference opponents ... won three straight matches from Sept. 3 to Sept. 6, including straight-set league wins against Bethel and Indiana Wesleyan ... teamed with Luke Rush in 12 matches at no. 2 doubles ... undefeated in three straight doubles matches as well from Sept. 3 to Sept. 6. 2015: Led all Maple Leafs with 19 combined wins, including 10-4 mark in doubles ... six-match unbeaten run at no. 3 doubles from 9/22 to 10/8 ... an undefeated 4-0 playing doubles with Kartikeya Sharma ... also went 9-4 in singles action, including 6-1 at no. 4 spot ... defeated Indiana Wesleyan in third set of last singles match on the court 9/5 to seal 5-4 team win ... named Springer Design Maple Leaf Athlete of the Week 9/7. 2014: Tied for team lead with 15 wins as a freshman, including 12-1 singles record ... undefeated in two matches at no. 3 and four at no. 5, playing rest of season at no. 4 ... finished the year on an eight-match singles winning streak ... the lone member of the Goshen team to play in all 15 matches (two singles matches were called before completion) ... with Jon Kaasa, formed second-most-frequent doubles team, playing 10 matches at no. 2.

HIGH SCHOOL:
Played for coach Jayendra Wijesekara at Asian International School ... was a member of the Sri Lankan Junior Davis Cup team and a member of the 2013 Davis Cup pool ... completed ORD, AS and A2 level exams.

PERSONAL:
Born on June 24 ... parents are Amal and Aranthi Weerasinghe ... has two siblings ... chose Goshen because "I want to continue my tennis career and as it is a nationally recognized campus"... admires his parents because "they guide me and help me out with any way they can with my tennis and my studies. They motivate me whenever I put myself down and they always say failures are the pillars of success"
