AT GOSHEN:
2019: Finished 8-6 in singles action, mostly at no. 5, in first season at GC ... started season with a two-match winning streak and concluded regular season on a three-match run ... split his only two tiebreaks of the season 10/1 vs. Huntington, then pushed his 10-point tiebreaker to 13-all before losing 15-13 ... won four 6-0 sets and three 6-1 sets ... went 2-1 in third sets ... also went 2-2 in four doubles appearances including a 2-1 mark in conference matches ... played three times with Juan Miguel Ciudad.

HIGH SCHOOL:
Attended Agape Christian Academy … graduated in 2017 … transferring from Hesston College.

PERSONAL:
Born on August 12 … parents are Hermes Flores and Miriam Fernandez … brother to Andrea (23) and Sofia (15) … chose Goshen because “it has a good tennis program, fits my study field and is a small school where I can get to know my teachers and classmates in a closer way … admires his father because “he has taught me honesty, discipline and perseverance.”
