PERSONAL:
Parents are Zach Kelley and Susan Lightner … has three siblings, Mikayla, Hunter and Vincent Kelley … chose Goshen “because I loved the campus and the community. I also was really excited to be a part of the first ever bowling team!” … most admires her cousin Corbin “because he made something out of nothing. He followed his dreams of being able to race a car one day. Corbin built two race cars from scratch with the help of family and close friends. At the start of the 2023 season, he got into a crash during the heat race and the car got smashed up pretty badly, and he was in the ambulance for a while. Two weeks later, he was back on that racetrack in a family friend’s car, doing what he loved most, even after something traumatic like that” … little-known personal fact is “I grew up between two worlds - the bowling alley and the racetrack. Those two places have been my lifeline for as long as I can remember. During the winter bowling season, I find myself longing to be at the track in the 80° weather getting the car ready to race. During the summer race season, I find myself longing to be in the bowling alley, practicing for the upcoming season” … best athletic moment “was when I qualified fifth at state singles. I may not have placed fifth overall, but I was still named Second-Team All-State for Division II”
