AT GOSHEN:
2019: Played 14 singles matches at no. 2 and 15 doubles matches, all at no. 1 but with three different partners ... took season opener to three sets at #1S, falling 6-1 to Mount Vernon Nazarene on Aug. 28 ... every other singles match was decided in two sets one way or the other ... opened doubles season with Anna Osborne before winning two of last three matches with Hannah McCoy and winning lone match with Sarah Hinshaw ... won at least six games in last four doubles matches of season and won five games six times in 15 doubles matches.
2018: Played 15 singles and 14 doubles matches ... posted first career win in a tiebreak at no. 1 doubles 8/28 vs. Mount Vernon Nazarene ... swept a pair of matches 8/31 vs. Olivet, winning all 20 games she played between no. 1 singles and no. 1 doubles ... also had a pair of wins 4/20 vs. Grace Christian ... went to a third set twice, 8/28 vs. Mount Vernon Nazarene and 4/13 vs. IU Kokomo.

HIGH SCHOOL:
Played for coach Matt Reverman at Northridge High School ... team MVP and mental attitude award winner … won accounting award.

PERSONAL:
Born on May 26 ... parents are Shannon and Quinton (Tony) Oakes ... sibling is Sydnee (10) ... chose Goshen “because it simply felt like home. I walked onto campus and everyone was very friendly and they all had smiles on their faces.” ... admires her mom because “she goes out of her way to help others in need and is one of the most caring people you will ever meet... but she’s not afraid to tell you straight up if something is wrong” ... little-known personal fact is “I love to travel” ... best athletic moment was making varsity her sophomore year of high school.
