Born on June 12 … parents are Benson Simatei and Ann Simatei … has one sibling, Deborah Murgor … previously attended New Mexico Junior College (2019 cross country, 2020 indoor track & field, 2021 outdoor track & field) … was All-American in the half marathon … earned President Honors four times and Dean of Students Honors once … chose Goshen because “it has a good athletic program and nursing program - which is my major. It also has a hospital across the street which makes it more efficient for my major” … best athletic moment was “going for cross country nationals as a team”
