Goshen College

Billy Funk joins the Maple Leafs coaching staff for his first season after graduating in 2013 with B.A.'s in History and Theater.

Funk competed in three seasons of cross country and four in track and field for Goshen.  He was part of the 2013 4x800 Maple Leaf relay team, which earned All-American honors, the first relay team in school history to do so.  As a junior the year before, he also earned all league honors in the 1,500 meters. 

In cross country, Funk helped the Leafs to second and third place finishes in the Crossroads League/ Mid-Central College Conference the last two seasons.  As a senior, he earned his first career all league honor, qualifying for the NAIA National Championships.
