After graduating in the spring with degrees in Theater and History, Billy Funk joins the coaching staff for his first season in 2013.

Funk helped lead the Maple Leafs to 2nd and 3rd place finishes in the Crossroads League/ Mid-Central College Conference the last two seasons.  As a senior, he earned his first career all league honor, qualifying for the NAIA National Championships.  His career best 8k time of 25:43 is the seventh fastest in program history. 

Also a standout on the track, Funk was part of the 2013 4x800 Maple Leaf relay team, which earned All-American honors, the first relay team in school history to do so.
