Lee Mast

  • Title
    Head Coach

Lee Mast begins his fourth season as head coach of the Maple Leafs in 2012 after spending the previous four years as the head of the Goshen High School program.  In each of his first three seasons at the helm, Mast led the Maple Leafs to the most wins (11, 14, 13) since the 2003 season.

While at Goshen High School, Mast took over a struggling softball program, which had not reached twelve wins in well over a decade. Mast led the Redskins to a 12-15 record in 2008, including 5-9 in the Northern Lakes Conference. Their 12 wins – a total the Redskins reached twice in Mast's four-year tenure – is one win short of the single-season school record.

Before his four-year stint at the helm of the Redskin softball program, Mast held various other coaching positions at the local high school, including junior varsity softball, junior varsity baseball, and freshman basketball. He has also coached basketball and softball, been a youth sponsor and director, and the district athletic director for Brenneman Missionary Church in Goshen.

Mast is the sixth head coach in the 17-year history of the Maple Leaf softball program.
