KOKOMO, Ind. - In a match that only needed 90 minutes to complete, the Goshen women's tennis team won easily on the road at IU-Kokomo, 7-0. The women are now 3-0 this season and have not lost a point. Goshen was 0-3 against the Cougars in their three most recent matchups between 2019 and 2022.
Goshen took the doubles point by winning all three of the matchups by a score of 6-1. 
Blanka Bodo and 
Maria Clara Fonte got the win at #1 doubles, 
Uliana Dotsenko and 
Sara Nino at #2 doubles and 
Ariadna Otin O'Callaghan and 
Marin Kawano at #3. Bodo and Fonte are both 10-1 in doubles this year.
The Maple Leafs had straight set wins at #4 and #5 singles, thanks to performances from Kawano and Fonte, respectively. Bodo won 6-1, 6-0 at #2 singles. Dotsenko had a 6-2, 6-1 win at #1 and Nino won 6-0, 6-3 at #3 singles. The closest matchup, which was still a dominant performance, was Otin O'Callaghan's 6-1, 6-3 win at #6 singles. Bodo moved to 8-1 in singles this year. Fonte and Nino are both 7-1.
Goshen is not done for the weekend - they are at Grand Valley State on Saturday, October 25, at 1:00 pm.
