Kenestrick shines again while men's team nears top half at Lehigh Valley Collegiate Classic

Grindle and Bressert post new season-high single-game scores

GOSHEN, Ind. - Abigail Kenestrick had another strong individual performance for the women and the men had a solid team finish, coming in 11th of 19 teams, as the Maple Leafs concluded their Pennsylvania trip at the Lehigh Valley Collegiate Classic.

Men - 11th of 19
The men finished 11th with 8,111 total pins after coming in 14th of 17 at the Roto Grip Keystone Quaker Classic the two days prior. The Leafs were anywhere between 10th and 15th place on the first day during the regular games and between 11th and 13th on day two during the baker games, finishing in 11th.

Brendan Riley was Goshen's top performer, coming in 33rd of 134 bowlers. He had three games with scores over 200, totaled 959 pins, and averaged 191.8 per game. Nik Bressert came in 38th (932 pins, 186.4 average), followed by Hayden Grindle in 65th (747 pins, 186.8 average), Cameron Fedenis in 100th (537 pins, 179.0 average), Blake Fisher in 107th (500 pins, 166.7 average), Adam Snyder in 109th (487 pins, 162.3 average) and Matt Dominiano in 118th (342 pins, 171.0 average). Grindle and Bressert had new season-high single-game scores.

Women - 4th of 5
Abigail Kenestrick came in fourth of 37 bowlers in the five regular games. She totaled 967 pins, averaging 193.4 per game. Her first two games were her best, with scores of 205 and 206. Including her fourth and fifth games at the Keystone Quaker Classic, she bowled four games in a row with a score of 205 or higher.

The women were consistently in fourth as a team throughout the tournament. After Kenestrick, Kaylee McNab came in seventh (824 pins, 164.8 average), Lexie Strong in 19th (530 pins, 176.7 average), Kaidance Gates in 22nd (492 pins, 164.0 average), Bailey Friars in 25th (480 pins, 160.0 average), Rebekah Muzyk in 27th (433 pins, 144.3 average) and Guliana Castiglione in 28th (405 pins, 135.0 average).

Goshen is at the Kegel/ISBPA Collegiate Classic in Addison, Illinois, on January 17 and 18.
