MISHAWAKA, Ind. - Men's volleyball lost a lopsided affair against the Bethel Pilots in three sets on Tuesday on the road. Bethel won 25-15, 25-18, 25-13.

The Pilots had an early 6-1 lead in the first set and held the lead throughout. In the second set, Goshen was only down two points more than halfway through the set but the Pilots ended by scoring 11 of the last 17 points. Similarly, Bethel ended the third set on a 13-3 run.

Ben Koop had 11 of Goshen's 20 kills and had a .308 hitting percentage. He is at 279 kills for the season after knocking down 61 all of last season. Avery LaForce had 17 assists, Andrea Biffi had two block assists and Sawyer Frystak and Jonathan Arias had five digs apiece.

Bethel more than doubled Goshen's kills total 42-20 and dominated in assists (38-18), blocks (11-2) and aces (6-1).
