JACKSON, Mich. - Camryn Barrows was named the Crossroads League Softball Pitcher of the Week on Monday afternoon, as announced by the conference.

Barrows went 3-0 last week with an ERA of 0.58 through 24.0 innings at the Space Coast Spring Games. She averaged 12.54 strikeouts per seven innings, ending up with 43 strikeouts and five walks during the week. She leads the Crossroads League in ERA and strikeouts and is tied for the league lead in wins. She is the only pitcher in the NAIA with a k/7 (strikeouts per seven innings) rate over 11.2 with more than 12 innings pitched. She also hit .381 for the week.

She threw 15 strikeouts in Goshen's 4-0 win over Fort Lauderdale on Tuesday, the most strikeouts in a game for Goshen, by one pitcher or the entire team, since at least 2007. She then threw 14 strikeouts in Goshen's win over Calumet.

This is Goshen's 13th Crossroads League Athlete of the Week award winner this school year. Goshen softball is at home against Saint Mary's College on Friday.
