AT GOSHEN:
2011: Second on the team with 46 games started... had 27 hits in 123 at bats... was second on the team with 24 walks and 10 hit by pitches for an on-base percentage of .384... also had four doubles, four stolen bases, and nine runs batted in... reached base safely in 32 games.
2010: Appeared in 53 of Goshen's 54 games as a sophomore, making 49 starts... batted .262 with seven doubles, a triple, a home run, and 13 runs batted in... also had six stolen bases, led the team with 11 hit by pitches and tied for a team-high with 21 walks giving him an on-base percentage of .394... also had four outfield assists... hit safely in four of his last six games... had back-to-back three hit games against Grace College, which included his home run.
2009: Played in 50 games, starting 49 of those in the outfield as a freshman...batted .271 with 5 2B, 1 HR, 15 RBIs, and 6 SB... had eight multi-hit games, including three hits twice (3/26 vs. Bethel and 4/27 vs. Taylor)... had first career home run in that MCC Play-In series game at Taylor.

HIGH SCHOOL:
Prepped at Mooresville High School... an all conference selection... won the 2008 Sportsmanship Award... received an honors diploma... also received mental attitude award... in top 10% of class.

PERSONAL:
Parents are Jon and Kim Swisher... siblings are Katie Smith (23) and Joey (18)... admires his parents because, "I look up to them on how I should live my own life"... little known personal fact "I am my mom's favorite child"... chose Goshen College "I liked the small college atmosphere along with the chance to continue my baseball career."
