Justin Grubbs

Justin Grubbs has been a part of the Maple Leaf coaching staff since 2013. During his time at GC, the Maple Leafs broke the school record for strikeouts in a season in 2019.

Coach Grubbs spent the previous eight years as a high school varsity assistant, including five at Goshen High School, where he helped the team to the 2008 Elkhart sectional championship. He was previously part of Madison-Grant High School's 2006 Central Indiana Conference championship team, where his tutelage led the pitching staff to a 1.27 ERA.

Grubbs graduated from Triton High School in Bourbon, Indiana, where he was a two-time All-Northern State Conference selection. He posted a 15-4 career mark on the mound. He also played football and was a 1997 Academic All-State honoree.

A 2002 Indiana Wesleyan University graduate - where he pitched for the Wildcats - Grubbs also holds a master's degree in Administration of Physical Education and Sport from Ball State University. He is currently a mathematics teacher at Goshen High School and has been married to his wife Emily since 2004. The couple has two children, Eliana and Maycee, and reside in Bremen.
