PERSONAL:
Born on February 26 … parents are Diana and James Elgan … has two siblings, Taylor and Hunter Elgan … chose Goshen “because of the family-like atmosphere carried all around campus. I visited the campus during my sophomore year of high school and fell in love. The softball team took me in and told me everything they knew about the school, and everything was so positive. From the people that work there to the students in the classroom, everyone was always happy to assist or help me with anything I needed” … most admires her parents because “they have always been my biggest mentors and people I can always look up to. They are so strong and have taught me everything I know. They work so hard for my siblings and me every day and work extra hard so I can play softball. They push me to be the person I am today, and I hope one day I can be able to live the life they do” … little-known personal fact is “a squirrel once ran over my feet while I was playing softball in center field as I was going for a pop fly and ever since then I have never liked fields with squirrel holes” … best athletic moment was “stealing a home run in front of Coach Plezbert, and getting to be a part of my high school team winning Division III CIF and going on to win the Division II state title. We were the first team in the high desert area to win a state title!”
