AT GOSHEN:
2013: Made 32 starts and appeared in a total of 36 games... had 13 walks and was hit by six pitches for a .361 on-base percentage... added three doubles, eight RBIs and scored 13 runs... was a perfect 4-for-4 in stolen base attempts... homered in first game of the season, 2/24 at Northwood... had four multi-hit games... hit safely in eight of the last 12 games... on the mound, made six appearances and three starts... struck out seven in 20 1/3 innings of work.
2012: In his first season as a Maple Leaf, led the Goshen pitching staff with 16 appearances, including four starts… compiled a 2-5 record with one save… logged 49 innings, striking out 28… in first game of the season, came on in relief, firing six innings of four-hit ball to earn first win in 6-5 extra-innings thriller over Pikeville (2/18)… picked up first save less than two weeks later, throwing three innings and allowing just one run in a 9-6 victory over Houghton (2/27)… appeared in a total of 28 games, also playing the field… had three hits in 26 at bats.
2011: Red-shirted the 2011 season after transfering from Defiance College in Ohio.
HIGH SCHOOL:
Played for coach Kevin Miller at Archbold High School... led the team in earned run average, batting average and runs batted in... was named all league and all district... fired a no-hitter in his first ever high school start... was on the honor roll.
PERSONAL:
Parents are Kevin and Janet Miller... has two sisters, Taylor (23) and Jordan (26)... chose Goshen because "Goshen was the best place for me to grow academically and athletically while still walking close with the Lord"... admires his father because "he taught me the importance of respect and integrity"... little known fact is "I have a shoe addiction."
