AT GOSHEN:
2020: Made 11 starts and 2 reserve appearances before season was cut short due to COVID-19 pandemic ... tied for sixth on the team with 9 hits and fourth on the team with 2 doubles ... also drew 5 walks ... debuted in season opener 2/15 vs. Concordia and went 1 for 3 ... first multi-hit game was next day vs. Pikeville ... hit .571 in 3-game hitting streak 2/25 through 2/29 with a pair of doubles.

HIGH SCHOOL:
Played for coach Terry Turner at Daleville High School ... all-state first team as a senior and honorable mention as a junior … two-time state champion … all-conference and all-county … winning pitcher in 2018 IHSAA 1A state championship game … three-time academic all-conference … also played basketball.

PERSONAL:
Born on February 10 ... parents are Sarah Swift and Jeremy Smith … chose Goshen because “it was a great fit and felt like family when I came on my visit” ... admires Peyton Manning because “he put himself above and beyond with pregame preparation and the mental side of his sport” ... best athletic moment was “being the winning pitcher in the 2018 state championship game.”
