Born on September 30 … parents are Claudia and Demian Lopez … has two siblings, David and Adrian Lopez … chose Goshen “because I really like the size of the school and how nice all the people I encountered were. They were always willing to help and very kind through it all. I also chose Goshen to continue to play baseball with my brother, who is a current baseball player for Goshen College!” … most admires his parents because “they both taught me and showed me as long as you try and work hard enough, you can build something from nothing and to never give up on something you love to do” … little-known personal fact is “I actually used to be passionate about wanting to learn to play soccer up until seventh grade when I decided to take baseball full-time” … best athletic moment was “when I hit my first home run out of the big field when I was 16”
