AT GOSHEN:
2011: Competed in all seven events for the Maple Leafs as a freshman... made an immediate splash as the first Goshen runner to cross the line in the first three meets of the year, including individual titles at the Grace College Invitational and the Forester Invitational... earned All MCC honors with a ninth-place showing at the MCC Championships in a career best 26:04.

HIGH SCHOOL:
Competed for Coach Jeff Payne at Concord High School with current Maple Leaf teammates Andrew Witkowski and Alejandro Rodriguez… named most valuable… broke Concord's school record in 5k with a time of 16:00… graduated with honors.

PERSONAL:
Born on January 13… parents are Francisco and Elsa Zelaya … chose Goshen because "It's a great place to grow academically and spiritually"… admires his father because "he has been a great role model for me"… little known fact is "I was born in Honduras."
