Ran for coaches Randy Hisner (cross country), Dave Hakes (track), and Gavin Hisner (distance coach for track) at Bellmont High School … was the conference champion in cross country … a two-time sectional champion in cross country … John Reed mile winner … school record holder in the 4x800m and the open 800m … conference 1600m champion … sectional 800m champion … 3^rd fastest runner in Bellmont history in the 5k … graduated 12^th in his class with a 4.16 GPA
 
PERSONAL:
Born on April 25 … parents are Dana and Elvis Garlinger … has two siblings, Connor (17) and Vanessa (21) … chose Goshen because “they were closer to home than my other options and offered what I was looking for, plus the campus is beautiful” … best athletic moment was “being the very first conference champ in cross country in Bellmont's cross country program”

MAJOR: Pre-Physical Therapy
FUTURE GOALS: Shooting for varsity my first year but I won't be disappointed if it doesn't happen. I'd also like to be low 1:50's in the 800 too. Last but not least I'd like to maintain a high GPA and not to get swallowed up by my procrastination.
