AT GOSHEN:
2012: Competed in four events as a sophomore… ran a new career best 30:03 at the Benedictine Invitational.
2011: Ran in all seven of the Maple Leafs events as a freshman... finished in Goshen's top 10 three times, including a career best 30:38 at the Bethel College Invitational.
HIGH SCHOOL:
Competed for Coach Steve Sparks at Dover High School… was a state qualifier… named to Academic All District, All County and All Ohio… part of National Honor Society… also competed in swimming.
PERSONAL:
Born on January 7… parents are Kevin and Kim Nay… has one sister, Kayla… chose Goshen because "It supported my future goals well, and it has my desired major. I loved the idea of the SST, and the Goshen College motto showed me that it was a place that supported peace as much as I do"… admires Calculus teacher Mrs. McConnell because "She genuinely cares for each student in her class. She strives to help everyone she can, and she is always humble and kind to everyone. She always has a smile on her face, and she talks about the things that bother her. She is straight forward with us and allows us to become part of her thought process. She also built an amazing Dome House on two teacher salaries, and has two adorable kids who she treats amazingly. She is the prime example of a truly beautiful person"… little known fact is "I can hold my breath for over two minutes and have five diseases."
