AT GOSHEN:
2020:
One of three players to play and start in all 18 games in a pandemic-shortened season ... batted .256 with 11 hits and 2 doubles ... 5 walks were third on the team ... stole a base ... got at least one hit in every doubleheader but one ... had a two-hit showing in the second game of the season 1/31 vs. Roosevelt ... finished with three of those ... also worked two walks 2/1 vs. Michigan-Dearborn.
2019: Started 27 games and appeared in 37 overall ... first multi-hit game of the season came 3/19 at Indiana Wesleyan ... followed that up with two more multi-hit games, including a 4 for 6 effort with 3 runs scored in 20-15 barn burner 4/8 at Spring Arbor ... also scored two runs 3/1 at Benedictine-Mesa ... drove in a season-high 2 runs 4/2 at Grace, including a home run ... first double of the season came in next appearance 4/5 vs. Huntington. 2018: Started 42 games in addition to six relief appearances ... doubled 5 times ... first career hit and runner thrown out both came 2/18 at Briar Cliff ... went 3 for 4 with 2 runs scored 2/28 at Arizona Christian ... doubled for the first time 3/1 at Benedictine-Mesa ... also had a 2-hit game 4/6 vs. Indiana Wesleyan, 4/10 vs. Huntington and 4/11 vs. Spring Arbor ... all three were in the second games of doubleheaders ... did it again (in the second game, you guessed it) 4/20 vs. Taylor ... both of the hits 4/11 vs. Spring Arbor were doubles.

HIGH SCHOOL:
Played for coach Melissa Snee at Sylmar High School ... three-time all-league … city champion … graduated with high honors and was on the dean’s list.

PERSONAL:
Born on November 28 ... parents are Ivan and Elizabeth Espinoza ... sister to Ivan (22) ... chose Goshen “because of the flexibility it offered with academics and athletics. This program allows me to pursue my studies in nursing and play softball at a collegiate level.” ... admires her brother because “he created a great example of selflessness and independence for me growing up. He has always handled any of his problems on his own and still makes time to help me in any situation. Most importantly he is someone who I can always count on when I need him the most.” ... little-known personal fact is “I love bees.”
