Liz was born and raised in the foothills of Colorado, where she developed into a heralded prep recruit before committing to D1 Lehigh University and legendary coach Fran Troyan. While at Lehigh, Lucas was a four-year starter behind the plate, voted team captain, earned First Team All-Patriot League recognition, and was named a NFCA Mid-Atlantic All-Region selection.Â
Shortly after completing her college career, she was hired by Coach Luke Wagner as an assistant at D3 Rhodes College. After a season with the Lynx, Lucas was invited to Europe, where she played softball professionally in Germany for four years while earning her Master's Degree.Â
Throughout her many experiences, Liz developed skills to establish mental toughness. With these skills, Liz created a comprehensive program geared toward athletes wanting to take their mental game to the next level. Lucas has gone on tours and speaking engagements, educating groups about mental toughness, but now she devotes her time to working more intimately with both teams and individuals who are eager to step up their game.
