Ryan Yocom enters his fourth season as a Maple Leaf softball assistant coach in 2022.

Yocom joined the Maple Leafs staff in 2019 after six years on the baseball staff at South Side High School in Fort Wayne, where he helped lead the Archers to the first two sectional championships in program history.

Because Yocom played golf in college, his baseball career ended in high school, where he was a two-time all-conference pick at Triad High School in Ohio. He also played in the USSSA World Series as a youth player.

Yocom went on to Indiana Tech in Fort Wayne, where he graduated in 2012 and was named outstanding graduate in the sports management program.

He has also spent six years umpiring at the high school level in northeastern Indiana and northwestern Ohio.
