AT GOSHEN:
2013: Was second on the team in appearances (13) and innings pitched (51 2/3)... allowed just six hits and three runs in a complete-game victory against Grace on 4/17... also had first career hit offensively on 2/28 vs. Davenport.
2012: Was second on the roster in appearance in the circle with 23, making 10 starts... logged 75 2/3 innings and put together a 5-7 record with a 4.07 earned run average... earned first win of the season with 5 2/3 innings of two-hit, scoreless ball on 2/28... also fired six innings of shutout work against Indiana Tech on 3/30.
2011: Started 10 games and made 13 appearances in the circle as a freshman... tallied 46 2/3 innings pitched, striking out 21 and compiling a 2-7 mark... earned first career win after giving up just two earned runs in a complete-game effort over Rose Hulman Institute on 2/28/11... also fired complete game (8 inn.) against Purdue North Central on 4/15/11.
HIGH SCHOOL:
Played for coach Beth Vesa at Munster High School... was a four-year letter winner... part of 2008 conference and section championship team....had an earned run average of just 0.259 as a senior... posted 7-1 strikeout to walk ratio as junior... had an impressive 13-2 mark on the varsity squad as a freshman... graduated with honors.
PERSONAL:
Parents are Jeff and Vicki Ispas... has two sisters, Rachel and Holly... chose Goshen because "It was a good distance from home, has the majors I'm interested in, and I'm able to be a part of the softball program"... admires her grandmother, "She is always kind and helpful. I have never heard anyone speak ill of her"... little known personal fact, "I was in a body cast when I was in kindergarten."
