2020: One of three players to play and start in all 18 games in a pandemic-shortened season ... batted .212 with 11 hits, but drew 6 walks to rank second on the team ... had three two-hit showings, all in the month of February ... her five RBIs came in five different games ... did not strike out in 52 at bats. ... had a two-walk day at SAGU on 2/24.
2019: Started 52 games and played in 53, leading team on both fronts ... scored a team-high 37 runs and led the squad with 179 at bats ... 41 runs batted in and 69 hits both eclipsed the previous school record and were second on the team ... went a perfect 7-for-7 stealing bases, the most by any GC player without being caught ... ranked 33rd in the nation with 112 assists ... posted 5 multi-hit games in non-conference play with a pair of 4-game hitting streaks in that span ... first 3-hit game of career came 3/2 against Benedictine Mesa ... had driven in 3 runs with a single and a double the day before ... went 4 for 4 on 3/26 vs. Bethel ... laced first career homer and drove in 3 vs. Marian on 3/28 ... posted second 4-RBI game of the season on 4/5 at Huntington on 4 singles ... season-high 5 hits at Spring Arbor on 4/8 ... went 5 for 5 in regular-season finale 4/27 at Grace ... all told, finished season with 20 multi-hit games ... walked twice on 4/2 vs. Grace.

Born on March 23 … parents are Jeremy and Trina Bachtell … has three siblings, Josie (22), Jackie (16) and Josie (14) … chose Goshen “because it is a very small school and different from where I live, so it helps broaden my horizons and make me a well-rounded student and person” … little-known personal fact is “I love ice cream and shopping” … admires her sister Josie because “she pushes me to be the best that I can be and I look up to her because she always gives it her all at whatever she is doing” … best athletic moment was “winning Rookie of the Year last year and hitting a home run off one of the best pitchers in the league.”
