Box Score GOSHEN, Ind. — TaNiece Chapman was a perfect 7-for-7 from the floor Wednesday night, leading the Goshen College women's basketball team with 16 points in a 77-65 loss to Grace College in Gunden Gymnasium.
Haley Archibeque led all players with 7 assists, matching her career high for the Maple Leafs (6-6, 0-4 Crossroads League) in a team-high 37 minutes.
Brooke Sugg scored 33 points for Grace (8-5, 3-1) while playing all 40 minutes; the Lancers were 20-of-25 (80 percent) at the foul line and also got 10 points from Kyannah Stull. Vironnica Drake's 4 steals were a game high.
Grace led 40-28 at halftime after the teams combined for 42 points in the second quarter; Goshen had used an 18-6 run to get within four points in the second quarter and would score seven straight to trail 54-50 early in the fourth. Eleven of Grace's 23 fourth-quarter points came on free throws.
Goshen outrebounded Grace 38-34 behind 7 rebounds from Sydney Stein and 6 from Keyaira Murff, who also had a pair of blocks. Stein and Archibeque added two steals apiece. Caitlyn O'Neal and Alyson Prigge chipped in 8 points each off the bench while Logan Kyre scored 7 in 25 minutes.
