GARY, Ind. - In a break from the conference schedule, the Goshen women's volleyball team traveled to Gary on Saturday and lost in four sets to IU-Northwest.
Goshen's best set was a 25-22 win in the third. The Leafs had 15 kills and just four errors in that set alone. This came after a second set where Goshen scored 11 points and had just six kills.
Sadie Brenneman finished with a double-double, totaling 11 kills and 16 digs.
Emily Lynch also had double-digit kills while
Kennedy Land,
Christina Towne, and
Jaelyn Amhdar posted double-digit digs. This ties season-highs for Amhdar and Towne.
Kennedy Land had two aces for Goshen, putting her at 13 for the season.
Emileishka De Jesus guided the Redhawks to the win with 20 kills, 32 digs, three aces, and six assists. IU-Northwest is now 14-7 this season.
Goshen is back at home and back in the Crossroads League on Wednesday, October 12, at 6:00 pm against Indiana Wesleyan.
