MARION, Ind. - The Goshen baseball team dropped their final two games of the series at Indiana Wesleyan by scores of 12-2 and 15-6.

Jack Bennett allowed five earned runs in 5.2 innings for Goshen. He struck out five and walked two. The Maple Leafs' offense came in the sixth. A single to right field from Joseph Cerda scored Jenner Rodammer and Evan Creager's double to center brought in Camm Nickell.

The other Goshen hits came from Nate Lange, Morgan Baker, and Nickell.

IWU continued the seventh-inning rally through the first three innings of game two.

Jenner Rodammer homered for the Leafs in the first, but Indiana Wesleyan quickly answered with four runs in the first, another four in the second, and three more in the third to go up 11-1.

A second Goshen run came in the fourth when Creager scored on a wild pitch. In the fifth, Nickell singled to left and scored Rodammer. Cerda had an RBI when he singled and advanced to second on an error, and Trent Sillett's groundout brought in Nickell to make the score 11-5.

Nickell had another RBI single in the sixth, which made the score 13-6. When it was all said and done, IWU left with a 15-6 win and a four-game sweep.

Gabe Kermode took the loss, allowing three earned runs in one inning pitched. Nickell was 2-3 at the plate with two RBIs and a run scored. Rodammer was 3-4 and scored half of Goshen's runs. The home run was his third of the season.
