GOSHEN, Ind. - Despite being a fairly even game throughout, the Goshen men's soccer team lost to Grace at home on Wednesday 3-0. Grace had four shots on goal and Goshen had three.
Two goals for the Lancers came pretty early - in the 8th and 18th minutes, and both from Martim Sequeira. Sequeira completed the hat trick in the 77th minute. Two of his goals were assisted by Maxime Bregeon, the other from Seongwhi Lee.
Goshen had ten total shots and Grace had 13. The Leafs took seven corner kicks, five coming in the second half, and Grace took nine.
John Mlondani had two shots on goal and five total shots. Both are career highs for him. He came into the match with six total shots this season.
Bryan Yahir Rodriguez had Goshen's other shot on goal.
The Leafs no longer have a path to the postseason and will play their last game of the year at home against Taylor on Saturday, October 28, at 7:00 pm. Seniors
