JACKSON, Mich. - Five members of the GC women's volleyball team were awarded league honors on Tuesday. Sadie Brenneman made the All-Crossroads League Second Team, while Emily Lynch, Kelsie Hankins, Alaina Wolfe and Bailee Brown earned spots on the Honorable Mention Team.

This is Brenneman's first time making the second team after being an honorable mention selection the last two years. This is the third honorable mention selection for Lynch. Hankins, Wolfe and Brown made the team for the first time, as they are all freshmen.

Brenneman led the team with 320 kills this season. Hankins led the team with an even 900 assists, Wolfe led the team with 41 aces and 391 digs, and Brown led the team with 74 blocks. Goshen won 31.3% of the sets they played this season - a 16.9% increase over the 14.4% of sets they won in 2022. The Maple Leafs finished 8-24 - with more wins than the last three years combined. They tied their most nonconference wins in a season since 2017.

Indiana Wesleyan's Eva Joldersma was named the conference's Player of the Year. The head coach for the Wildcats, Candace Moats, earned Coach of the Year. IWU is ranked #2 in the NAIA and swept Mount Vernon Nazarene 3-0 in the Crossroads League Tournament Championship.
