FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The #13 Indiana Tech Warriors men's volleyball team won their seventh straight match as they took down Goshen in three sets on Tuesday night. The Warriors are 15-1 in the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference this season.
The Leafs had six kills and six attack errors in the first set and Indiana Tech ended it on an 8-3 run after starting with a 15-9 lead. Goshen had 13 kills in the second set and came back after digging into an early hole. The Warriors scored the first four points but Goshen took their first lead at 6-5. The teams were tied at 14, but GC never tied it again, although they remained within striking distance for the remainder of the set. The Warriors won 25-22.
Indiana Tech had a .421 hitting percentage in the third set  - building a 14-7 lead and not looking back on the way to a 25-19 win. The Warriors had seven blocks and six aces in the match, while Goshen had two of each. Indiana Tech is 7-1 at home this season and 16-7 overall.
Ishmail Bangura had ten kills for the Maple Leafs.
Hasan Hadzic provided seven kills and six digs.
Wyatt Bollinger had 24 assists and five digs, and
Andy Bennettadded five kills with a .571 hitting percentage.
Goshen hosts Siena Heights on Friday, March 24, at 7:00 pm. Senior Day is on Saturday, March 25, against Lawrence Tech at 3:00 pm.
