Dan Sullivan tapped to serve as interim head men’s soccer coach

GOSHEN, Ind. - Assistant Coach Dan Sullivan will serve as the Interim Men's Soccer Head Coach at Goshen College for the upcoming 2023 season, effective immediately.

Sullivan has been an assistant men's soccer coach at Goshen College since 2016, and served as an assistant coach for the women's soccer team last season. He joined the Maple Leafs after seven seasons as the head boys soccer coach at Elkhart Memorial High School in Elkhart from 2009-15, where he went 50-55-15 and led the Crimson Chargers to their first sectional title of the millennium in his final season.

"We are excited to welcome coach Dan Sullivan to the interim head men's soccer coach role," said Dr. Erica Albertin, director of athletics. "Dan has been a core member of the athletic department staff for the last six years and has proven his leadership and commitment to success. He brings a wealth of soccer knowledge, connections in the local soccer community and a passion for developing students."

A search for a new head coach will begin during the 2023-24 academic year.

The men's soccer program at Goshen College has been one of the Maple Leafs' most successful teams. Since their inception in 1958, the team has an all-time record of 553-408-72.
